Early Life & Education

Vinu Job Kuzhimannil, born on 14 November 1967, was inspired to enter public life by the example and social commitment of his father, who had dedicated his life to serving the people. This became the inspiration for him to recognize public service as his calling.

He completed his primary and high school education at St. Joseph's School, Nalukody, Sacred Heart School, Fatimapuram, and Thrikkodithanam Government High School. He subsequently obtained a B.Com degree from St. Berchmans College, Changanassery (1986–87 batch).

He became actively involved in public activities while still a student. During his college years, he served as the President of the Kerala Students Congress (KSC) unit. He was subsequently elected as a University Union Councillor of Mahatma Gandhi University. Later, he was elected as a member of the KSC State Secretariat and provided strong leadership to the organization's activities.

Public Life

His journey into public life did not remain limited to student politics. He was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Changanassery Urban Co-operative Bank and actively participated in the bank's administrative and development activities.

In 2010 and 2020, he served as a member of the Madappally Block Panchayat and as Chairman of the Standing Committee for Development Affairs. During this period, he led several projects that became turning points in the development of the Paippad Division and initiated various progressive activities.

He also served for eight years as the Vice President of the Changanassery Club, a prominent organization in Changanassery, providing strong leadership to its socially committed activities.

In 2025, he achieved a notable victory from the Thrikkodithanam Division in the Kottayam District Panchayat — recognition of his long-standing public service and commitment to the people.

MLA, Changanassery

In 2026, he contested from the Changanassery Legislative Assembly constituency and achieved a historic victory. He was sworn in on 4 May 2026 and continues to lead development initiatives and promote social advancement in accordance with the aspirations and expectations of the people.

Priorities

His campaign focused on the welfare of rubber farmers, youth employment, and infrastructure development in the Pamba basin region.

Family

His late father, K. V. Job Appachan of Paippad Kuzhimannil, made notable contributions to public service, serving for a long period as a Panchayat member and Vice President. His late mother was Annamma Job.

His wife, Lovely Alexander, a member of the Changanassery Kavalom family, has always provided strong support for his social activities and responsibilities in public life. She currently serves as a teacher at S.B. Higher Secondary School. Their children are Dr. Irene, Akshara, and Shraddha.
